    Kangaskhan Analysis

Post by Immanent God LANCE on Tue 17 Jun - 6:40

From the tier of NU in BW2,the 'Parent Pokemon' now make its way to tier of Ubers in the XY metagame.Having given one of the newest, coolest and strongest ability 'Parental Bond' in the meta game make this 'Mother-son' combo really fearsome.Just making it hold a mega-stone 'Kangaskhanite' allows this pokemon to act as sweeper as well as revenge killer in the tier of Ubers. The 'Scrappy' ability of this pokemon allows it to even hit ghost types with its stab and when it mega evolves,it nearly clears the battle-field.
Having the base stat of :
    HP:105
    Def.:100
    Attk.:125
    Spl.Attk.:60
    Spl.Def.:100
    Speed:100.
Give this pokemon the potential to be an essential part of the team.

    1. The Revenge Killer:
    Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
    Trait: Scrappy
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    - Fake Out
    - Crunch/Sucker Punch
    - Low Kick
    - Return

The move like 'Fake-Out' having priority +3 when given to this pokemon, hits real hard. This move always hit first and do enough damage and also make the opponent flinch.Return is the main stab of Mega-Kangaskhan,capable of blowing many pokemon in the Ubers including Palkia and Arceus-N.It generally OHKOs most pokemons except those who resist it after the damages from the entry hazards(Stealth Rock and Spikes).Crunch allows it to hit ghost types like Mega-Gengar and Giratina and do enough damage that they dare not to come again in the battlefield.Low kick is given to hit those who resist its stab and other moves. A Low Kick from Mega-Kangaskhan after a Fake Out and damage from hazards genrally OHKOs a Dialga.

    2. The Team Sweeper:
    Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
    Trait: Scrappy
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    - Power-Up Punch
    - Body Slam/Return
    - Sucker Punch
    - Drain Punch/Fire Punch

The new move from generation 6 named 'Power-Up Punch' give this pokemon chance to do damage and also get a +1 and +1 total +2 boost in its attack in a single turn. After a +2 attack boost,Mega-Kangaskhan becomes so deadly that its really hard to imagine.Return is its main stab, which make most pokes. faint after a +2 attack boost.Body Slam can also be used in place of Return, with the base power of 85 and having 30% chance to paralyse the opponent when combined its awesome ability do much damage and get 51% chance to paralyse.Sucker Punch act as a priority move and make it hit even ghost types. It also let it hit Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Mewtwo X.Lastly,Drain Punch is used as a recovery move which do the damage to the opponent and also recover health.Drain Punch can be used against Rock Arceus and Yveltal.Fire Punch can also be given to add a surprise element for those Steel-Bug types pokemons including Forrtress,Ferrothorn and Scizor.

    3.The Stall Wall:
    Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
    Trait: Early Bird
    EVs: 252 HP / 20 Def / 236 SDef
    Careful Nature
    - Wish
    - Protect
    - Seismic Toss
    - Crunch/Toxic
    OR
    Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
    Trait: Early Bird
    EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 SDef
    Impish Nature
    - Seismic Toss
    - Protect
    - Wish
    - Crunch/Toxic

As Stall has become very popular in XY,there are many candidates who Stall in a very awesome way but the 'Parent Pokemon' has now shown its presence in the stall too. With a good amount of bulk 100/100,it can wall in both special and physical way.
With its first set it is able to counter those special attackers who mostly terrorise the teams namely Palkia,Dialga,Mega Gengar and Mewtwo. With excess to Wish,it can recover its HP and even pass it to its allies.Protect is used to let the Wish heals it.The major advantage of this set is the use of 'Seismic Toss' move which deals good amount of damage and generally KOs most of the pokemons.Crunch is used to hit ghost types including Mega Gengar and Giratina.Toxic can also be used in place of Crunch so that it can stall in a better way.

The second set works on the physical side rather than special side.It let it take hits from Groudon,Arceus-N,Mega-Scizor and many more. The moves uses are same as the first set.Wish let it recover its health.Seismic Toss deal tonnes of damage to the opponent.Crunch for the ghost types.Toxic so that it can do indirect damage to the bulky pokes.
Overall,it can be seen that this Mega Pokemon is really awesome and fearsome in all the ways.
