    Some OR/AS Sets(By Cr7)

Post by aLiEn Mw on Sun 2 Nov - 0:03

As ORAS Mega-Evolutions were finally added into Pokémon Online in the new update, i have been analyzing some basic or obvious sets(offensive ones only) and these are my preferences:

WARNING: This can be imported to Pokémon Online only, as i made these sets on base stats of the Mega Pokémon's, as you may find weird that the trait's aren't respectively of the Mega Evolutions for almost each Pokémon, this is because it's the trait of the Non-Mega Pokémon and if you import any Pokémon to the simulator it will fix and everything will be normal.

    Mega Salamence:

Mega Salamence (Salamence) (F) @ Salamencite
    Trait: Moxie
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Dragon Dance
    - Frustration
    - Dragon Rush
    - Earthquake

Mega Salamence (Salamence) (F) @ Salamencite
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
    - Fire Blast
    - Frustration
    - Draco Meteor / Iron Tail
    - Earthquake

Okay, Mega Diancie may be decently used, so it's important to keep some Steel-type moves in the team! The second set is an All-Out Attack with Intimidate Repel. I'm afraid this will be quickly moved to Ubers, in OU it has more speed than any Dragon, unless the opponent's Scarf, and as it's Physical it's pretty Dangerous, RAPE EM ALL SALLY!

    Mega Beedrill:

Mega Beedrill (Beedrill) (F) @ Beedrillite
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Swarm
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Poison Jab
    - X-Scissor
    - Knock Off / Drill Run

This Pokémon may be OU! Never underestimate this Guy right here, he has greatly increased Speed and SD Dangerous!

    Mega Glalie:

Mega Glalie (Glalie) (F) @ Glalitite
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Ice Body
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Double-Edge
    - Spikes
    - Explosion
    - Earthquake

This pokémon is Suicude as it always were, it doesn't survives much in the team, may be moved too UU.

    Mega Metagross:

    Mega Metagross (Metagross) @ Metagronite
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Hone Claws
    - Meteor Mash
    - Zen Headbutt
    - Earthquake

This pokémon is DANGEROUS!!! High chance to be moved to Ubers!

    Mega Pidgeot:

Mega Pidgeot (Pidgeot) (F) @ Pidgeotite
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Tangled Feet
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Heat Wave
    - Hurricane / Air Slash
    - Defog / Roost / Hidden Power [Grass] / Hidden Power [Ground]
    - U-turn

Usefull almost like a Tornadus-Therian, but no Regenerator is disappointing. Well it has something Tornadus-Therian hasn't, that is Defog. May not even be UU.

    Mega Sceptile:

    Mega Sceptile (F) @ Sceptilite
    Trait: Lightning Rod
    EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
    Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
    - Giga Drain
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Hidden Power [Fire] / Grassy Terrain
    - Earthquake

    Mega Sceptile (F) @ Sceptilite
    Trait: Lightning Rod
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Leaf Blade
    - Swords Dance / Hone Claws
    - Dragon Claw
    - Low Kick / Iron Tail

There's a choice between two kinds of Mega-Sceptile in the second Mega-Sceptile moveset, which is Hone Claws for Iron Tail sucess hit against Fairy Type Pokémon.

    Mega Lopunny:

    Mega Lopunny (F) @ Lopunnite
    Trait: Scrappy
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Power-Up Punch / Fake Out
    - High Jump Kick
    - Iron Tail
    - Ice Punch

Good chance for this Pokémon to be OU, It has decent Attack with great Speed.

    Mega Sharpedo:

    Mega Sharpedo (F) @ Sharpedonite
    Trait: Speed Boost
    EVs: 252 Atk
    Hardy Nature
    - Crunch / Bite
    - Ice Fang
    - Poison Fang
    - Waterfall

This pokémon isn't that strong after all, may still be UU, reason Bite is there is for flinch as it has good chance for so, Poison Fang for Fairy's with Strong Jaw boost.

    Mega Slowbro:

    Mega Slowbro (M) @ Slowbronite
    Trait: Regenerator
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Psyshock / Flamethrower
    - Scald
    - Thunder Wave / Ice Beam
    - Slack Off

This pokémon easily counter many Pokémon's in the OU metagame, wonder if it will go Uber, he can easily laugh at Mega Salamence and Mega Metagross's face with the respective set's for them.

    Mega Gallade:

    Mega Gallade (M) @ Galladite
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Justified
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Drain Punch
    - Swords Dance
    - Knock Off
    - Zen Headbutt

With this kind of speed this thing RAPES Probably going to be moved in OU!

    Mega Altaria:

    Mega Altaria (F) @ Altarianite
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Pixilate
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Dragon Dance
    - Dragon Claw
    - Frustration
    - Earthquake

Finally we have a Physical Strong(after 1 Dragon Dance) Fairy-Type Pokémon. Not so STRONF after all, may be moved to UU.

    Primal Groudon:

    Primal Groudon @ Red Orb
    Shiny: Yes
    Trait: Desolate Land
    EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 220 Spd
    Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
    - Overheat
    - Rock Polish
    - Hone Claws / Dragon Claw
    - Precipice Blades

I made this set to take Landorus-T and Rape go all-out for the rest of the Ubers meta, but still weak to Lugia, unless Swords Stone Edge set.

The Great Pokémon Master's Awakening Infernal Dinosaur

    Groudon @ Red Orb
    Ability: Drought
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
    Calm Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Lava Plume
    - Rest
    - Roar
    - Sleep Talk

A Primal Groudon moveset specifically designed for use in a stall team, with its specially-defensive build allowing it to serve as a great switch-in to Kyogre, Xerneas and any Defog Arceus that does not hold an Earth Plate. Not only can it spread burns with Lava Plume, but it can also hit decently hard with this move thanks to its Fire typing, Desolate Land, as well as its massive 150 base Special Attack, and Lava Plume is also great for threatening Ferrothorn, a Pokémon which can be extremely annoying against opposing stall teams that do not have a Grass-type Pokémon of their own. Roar is useful for racking up entry hazard damage, disruption, and removing the stat boosts of a Geomancy Xerneas, while Rest and Sleep Talk grants this Pokémon the awesome longevity that a stall team very much demands. Rest and Sleep Talk combined with the HP and Special Defense EVs also allow this Pokémon to deal with Darkrai somewhat.

Battle Master Alain's Ultimate Set-up Sweeper.

    Mega Salamence:

    Salamence (M) @ Salamencite
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Return
    - Substitute

Standard set mainly designed to sweep. This set enables Mega Salamence to troll Ditto if it has 0 evs in happiness or friendship. Substitute protects Salamence from status moves like W-O-W , Toxic and ThunderWave. Return is the main and only STAB which after a +1 boost in attack and speed is more than enough to sweep. Earthquake is for those who are able to take on its STAB.
